Atlantic Trust Hires Ex-Citi Private Bank VP In San Francisco

Atlantic Trust, the US private wealth management division of Toronto-headquartered CIBC, has appointed Dewey Tieu as vice president and associate relationship manager in its San Francisco office.

Tieu previously was a VP at Atlantic Trust, Atlantic Trust said in a statement yesterday.

“San Francisco is an important platform for our ongoing strategic growth. Because the client is at the center of all we do at Atlantic Trust, experienced relationship managers like Dewey are valuable additions to our team,” John Markwalter Jr, chairman and chief executive, said.

Atlantic Trust operates in 14 full-service locations in the US and oversees $28.8 billion of assets . CIBC acquired this firm in January 2014.
